Polished Nail Boutique provides in-kind and service donations to a variety of charities that speak to our heart.
Here are some of our favorites:
Photo Shoot for a Cure
Photo Shoot for a Cure is a series of photo shoot events benefiting Team Fox. The series is produced by photographer Diana Levine, in support of her Mom, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 12 years ago. 100% of Photo Shoot for a Cure party proceeds go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
Each year, Polished Boston provides on-site manicures during Photo Shoot for a Cure helping to raise much needed money and awareness for Parkinson's research. The event is a fun-filled cocktail party that offers attendees the opportunity to have a full make-over before taking a new headshot or family portrait. The Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor (formerly Home Away Boston)
RMH at Boston Harbor is where families of critically ill children stay to be close to their child who is receiving medical treatment in Boston.
Polished Boston closes its doors six times each year to travel to RMH at Boston Harbor and provide complimentary on-site manicures to guests of all ages who are staying at the House. We have been told that this service brings a feeling of “renewal” for patients and families while they are going through an extremely stressful time.
In 2016 and 2017, Shannon ran the Boston Marathon to benefit RMH at Boston Harbor and raised more than $33,000.
